The Gloo Factory started printing for the Tucson community around 2000. We have grown to a full service union print shop, specializing in screen printing, digital printing, publishing and cut vinyl graphics. Today, about a dozen workers are employed at the Gloo Factory. While our clientele is primarily in southern Arizona, we print and ship products across the country and around the world.

After screen printing out of a rented warehouse space on Toole Ave in downtown, we moved to a new building in South Tucson in 2010. We do all our printing and mail order business from that location – come down and see us as 238 E. 26th St!

UNION SHOP

The Gloo Factory’s employees belong to the Communication Workers of America, Local 7026. We strive to model pro-labor union values by maintaining a diverse work force, sourcing our materials from union companies, and promoting pro-labor ethics. We feel it is important for workers around the world to have the right to organize and work in safe, dignified workplaces without discrimination. We are proud to offer our union bug on all our products printed at The Gloo Factory.

COMMUNITY MINDED

Our shop prides itself in working with the community and supporting a variety of progressive causes, non-profit organizations and activist groups with rapid service and discounted printing. The Gloo Factory does offer internships for design and printing. We also love to host screen printing workshops with student groups, art classes, and youth organizations.

SCREEN PRINTING

For screen printing, our shop is set up with two 6-color rotating presses, two auto presses, and a large vacuum table for oversize jobs. We have printed on areas up to 4’x8′ in size. With our high-resolution transparency printer set up just for outputting film for burning screens, we can re-produce detailed images for apparel, stickers and signs.

We are up for any challenge for a custom project, including specialty materials, fine art prints, heat transfers, enamel prints, posters, promotional items, and more.

DIGITAL PRINTING

Ricoh high-volume digital printer for mailings, newsletters, cards, fliers and more!

With the addition of several Ricoh high-volume digital copiers, the Gloo Factory can crank out a wide variety of digital products, including fliers, booklets, business cards, gift cards, and more. We work with a local mailing house to offer full service newsletter, marketing and fundraising bulk mailings. With our binding equipment, we can print and bind a variety of booklets, reports, and books.
